Adding Wholesale Store Returns to Your Clearance Sale for Extra Profit

ARE YOU THROWING MONEY AWAY? If you are like most retailers you probably have a clearance sale a couple of times a year to clear out slow sellers, out dated items, etc. You advertise it and get a pretty good crowd and your clearance table sells out by 10AM. You grossed a couple hundred dollars and cleaned out your junk. Fine, but you are missing an opportunity to make a lot more money. What if, say you sell shoes, you ordered in a couple of pallets of store return shoes for PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR and mixed them in with your own items. You could sell all day long and make $1000 or more dollars with very little risk. But also think about all the people who came in after 10AM found no more clearance items and walked out. If you had more clearance items they would stayed and looked and might even had bought some of your good items if they couldn't find what they wanted on the clearance table. I know of several retailers who make more money on their clearance sale day than on a regular sales day. No matter what kind of items you sell there are wholesale distributors of overstock, closeout and store return merchandise for what every kind of product sold.
